Creating better cities together.
Friday September 25, 2026 2:30pm - 3:45pm CEST
Once upon a time, public spaces were designed for an anonymous standard user, leaving others to wander the city in fear and discomfort as they look for a public restroom. Who will stand up and slay the threat of dimly lit corridors, dead facades and stroller-trapping cobblestone? Join us on an interactive quest through Wroclaw to rewrite this narrative, stop fearfully tiptoeing through town and compete for the ultimate glory of winning the Inclusivity Bingo!

Based on the gender-inclusive framework from my master’s thesis, this outdoor walkshop takes a lighthearted gamified approach to understanding women’s experiences in public space, moving away from the sombre, fear-based dialogues toward a playful, design-led audit of the city. Participants will hunt for signs of gender-inclusivity, trying to find (and photograph) everything on their Bingo Card—from unlocked kids’ bikes, active storefronts and moveable chairs to mystery-challenges that will reveal themselves as they roam the city.

By gamifying spatial observation, we reveal the subtle barriers embedded in our streets. Participants will walk away with a practical toolkit to audit, adapt, and improve urban comfort, restoring the right to the city and a sense of true belonging for everyone. Ultimately, this session shifts the focus from defensive fear-management to proactive, design-led empowerment, proving that when spaces are built for everyone to exist comfortably, the whole community lives happily ever after.
