Placemaking Germany is a growing network of citizens, practitioners, municipalities, researchers, designers and community builders who believe that great places are created with people, not just for people.
We asked ourselves: Why isn't there a national placemaking network in Germany yet? While countless inspiring initiatives already exist across the country, they often work in isolation. Our goal is to connect these people, projects and ideas, creating a shared platform for collaboration, learning and collective impact.
Inspired by the values of Placemaking Europe, we are building an open and inclusive community where everyone is welcome—whether you're an experienced placemaker or simply passionate about creating more vibrant, people-centered public spaces.
