About me
Prajna Kumaraswamy is from Mysuru, India, currently based in Germany. Her work operates at the intersection of design, practice-action-research, ecology, culture, and public space, exploring how participatory and creative methods can foster more inclusive, resilient, and meaningful places. Having studied and worked across India, Egypt, and Europe, she brings an intercultural perspective to questions of youth engagement, belonging, climate resilience, and community-led transformation. Through urban design, visual storytelling, sketching, mapping, and collaborative workshops, she investigates how people experience, shape, and reimagine their environments across diverse socio-cultural contexts.
