About me
Franciszek Linke is an urbanist and Spatial Planning graduate from the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. His work explores how cities can become more resilient, inclusive and human-centred — from placemaking and tactical urbanism to accessibility, GIS-based spatial analysis and post-disaster regeneration. In his master’s thesis, he investigates tactical urbanism as a tool for implementing placemaking ideas, based on selected projects from the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016 programme. He has also worked on post-flood urban regeneration concepts for Lądek-Zdrój after the 2024 flood, focusing on rebuilding public spaces in a safer, greener and more community-oriented way. He co-created an award-winning Polytechnica Nova student project aimed at improving the quality and inclusiveness of campus public spaces. He is an alumnus of the Urban Future Young Leaders Programme.
