About me
Program manager for city making ('Stadmaken') in the city of the Hague. The program is aimed at facilitating initiatieves from the city, so that ideas can actually grow into full-fledged initiatives; initiatives that are valuable for the community, street, neighborhood, or city. The potential of these initiatives is not always recognized yet, which is why we want to make them more visible during periodic meetings and the annual City Makers Festival. Sometimes it's also necessary to remove obstacles in regulations and funding. Step by step, we work on this with a small team. Where possible, we work together with other municipalities to learn from them and be inspired by initiatives elsewhere.
