About me
Cornelis works as a town planner at the municipality of Övertorneå in the far north of Sweden. He has a long experience of working with public spaces and place development. His interests are placemaking, community development as well as photography with the aim to contribute to more attractive places, combining placemaking, urban design and safety strategies. Now working for the last five years at a small municipality at the Arctic Circle, Cornelis is project leader for a state-funded, local placemaking project and responsible for all sorts of activitities connected to local development and place attractiveness.
