About me
Trained as an economist, I gravitated early towards its most intangible edges: culture, ideas, innovation, and the forces that shape how people live and what they value. This has defined over fifteen years of research and foresight work combining design thinking and cultural intelligence. In the built environment in particular, where buildings are intended to last a century, we often design as though the future is informed by the present. My work is about closing that gap, helping organisations make sense of complex change, interrogate their assumptions, and design futures worth building. I have advised organisations including the NHS, Moody's, Foster + Partners, the UK Government, EY, Tata Consultancy Services, Chatham House, and Taller Bofill de Arquitectura.
