About me
Magdalena works as an urban researcher, a placemaker and an educator. She runs "On-site Foundation" which supports neighbourhoods, residents associations, local governments and entrepreneurs in improving urban public spaces in Polish cities. She is an initiator of social projects for sustainable transport, walkability and public spaces for children and teenagers. She develops citizen science as a method to engage local communities in making changes. She writes about urban challenges, she lectures on urban studies at the University SWPS and co-founds the Initiative “How the City Works“ focused on education on cities life.
