About me
Matyáš Hansel is a 25-year-old cultural manager with a background from Urban Studies at Leiden University, working at the intersection of community building, creative production and public space. He started in cultural programming at 16 with One World Ostrava festival, and later worked at a cultural centre Die Bäckerei in Innsbruck, where he contributed to event production, public involvement, and developed projects focused on inclusive and queer cultural spaces. He currently manages the Young Creators and No Cap! projects within České Budějovice - European Capital of Culture 2028. His current work focuses on creating spaces for youth culture - exploring how the city of České Budějovice can better support informal use, creativity, and everyday participation of young people in urban environments.
