About me
Daniel is an optimist urban planner. He acts on the intersections of strategic planning, placemaking and tactical urbanism in vulnerable social and physical environments. After his masters degree at the Delft University of Technology, Daniel worked internationally. He has lived in nine cities, an experience he builds on when he works for resilient and cooperative neighbourhoods as deputy mayor responsible for urban development in Budapest District 8, Józsefváros. The municipality’s diverse team’s biggest goals are to mitigate the pressure on housing and to revitalise urban spaces to resilient, vibrant places in an inclusive, participatory approach. On some evenings Daniel coaches water polo.
