About me
Rouge is a Berlin-based studio working at the intersection of art and architecture, focused on imagining more ecological, coexisting futures through proposals for public space.
The studio was founded by a human, Ruzica Jovanovic. While most of the drawings are produced by her, the ideas for our shared environment—and for the materials that shape it—emerge through a broader collaboration with other species, especially with fungi, algae, and plants.
At the core of Rouge’s work is a simple but urgent question: how can we create spaces that allow us to reconnect with the non-human world?
The practice develops environments and interventions that invite active participation—spaces where we can begin to rebuild our relationship with the more-than-human.
