Creating better cities together.
Thursday September 24, 2026 11:45am - 1:00pm CEST
What does it mean to feel at home in a place, and can that feeling exist in more than one place at once? In this interactive session, Diana Mideros opens a conversation with invited guests about home, identity, and belonging, drawing on her own experience as a migrant navigating different cultures and cities. Participants will then take part in a collective mapping activity: using two colors of post-its, they will mark on a world map what makes them feel at home in their place of origin, and what does — or doesn't yet — make them feel at home in the city they currently live in. The result is a living, collective map that reveals patterns of belonging, displacement, and connection across borders, and an invitation to reflect on what "home" really means in the cities we share.
