About me
Yulia Suárez Bergmann is an urban designer and geographer working at the intersection of urban development, climate adaptation and community-led change. She coordinates the local pilot of the EU-funded FairFuture project for the Evangelical Lutheran parish on Hamburg’s Veddel, where she works with local residents and partners on socially just responses to heat and other climate-related challenges. Her work combines participatory approaches with an interest in how public and community spaces can become places of collective action, care and resilience.
